With a history dating back to 1856, Bendigo is one of the oldest wine growing regions in Australia. Situated entirely inland, the region has a Mediterranean climate and is often defined by its undulating plains. The combination of deep soils, long days of sunshine and cool overnight temperatures, results in the production of wines with distinct regional characters and provides for the optimum balance between ripeness and structure.
